Residential Aged Care Facilities
All our Residential Care Facilities have achieved three year accreditation from the Aged Care Standard Agency.
Our facilities provide for Hostel style accommodation (known as either High and Low Care) and Respite services. RSL Care WA supports a philosophy of 'Ageing in Place'. This means that as our residents’ needs change, every effort is made to help existing residents’ access higher levels of care within the same community.
High Care accommodation is for people that have complex care needs and for those dependent on assistance with daily living activities including showering, dressing and eating.
Low Care accommodation is for people who have varied care needs, but who are still able to maintain some independence. Typically people, particularly those with limited mobility, who need greater access to personal and nursing care, compared to those people living at home. Access to shared facilities includes lounge and dining room, TV area and outdoor areas.
Access to residential care is subject to Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) assessment, room availability and payment of fees appropriate to your financial circumstances.
In addition to a relaxing home environment, all our hostel residents have access to a full range of personal care services including:
- Occupational Therapy
