Text resizing
There are two methods you can use to increase or decrease the text size of this website:
- Using the text resize buttons
- Changing the settings of your Internet browser (this option will resize the text size of every* website you visit, not just this one.)
You can use the text resize buttons found on the right hand side of every page on this website to adjust the text size.
To increase the text size:
Press the button until you reach a comfortable text size.
To decrease the text size:
Press the button.
To change the text size of this website and every* website you visit, firstly identify which browser and browser version you are using.
Identifying the browser and version
- open your browser
- select 'Help' from the top menu of your browser
- select 'About' (followed by your browser name) from the drop down list
The window that comes up will display which browser and version number you are using.
Now, follow the instructions appropriate to your circumstance.
Microsoft Internet Explorer
If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher:
- Select View
- Select Text size from the menu
- Choose a size from Largest to Smallest
If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0:
- Select View
- Select Internet Options form the menu.
- Choose Fonts and change the size to Small or Large
If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.2 (Macintosh):
- Select View
- Select Text Zoom
- Choose a size from the options 50%–300% or Larger or Smaller.
Mozilla/Firefox
If you are using Mozilla/Firefox:
- In your browser window menu, select View.
- Locate Text size.
- To increase the size of text, select Increase.
- To decrease the size of text, select Decrease.
- To revert back to the default text size, select Normal.
If you are using Mozilla:
- In your browser window menu, select View.
- Locate Text zoom (...%).
- To increase the size of text, select Larger.
- To decrease the size of text, select Smaller.
- Alternatively, you can adjust text size by selecting a percentage value (e.g. selecting 50% will decrease the text size by half).
- To revert back to the default text size, select 100%.
Opera
If you are using Opera:
- In your browser window menu, select View.
- Locate Zoom; you will now have the option to zoom in/out of the page.
- To increase the size of text, increase the zoom level.
- To decrease the size of text, decrease the zoom level.
- To revert back to the default text size, select 100%.
Netscape
If you are using Netscape 8.0:
- In your browser window menu, select View.
- Locate Text size.
- To increase the size of text, select Increase.
- To decrease the size of text, select Decrease.
- To revert back to the default text size, select Normal.
If you are using Netscape 7.0:
- In your browser window menu, select View.
- Locate Text zoom (...%).
- To increase the size of text, select Larger.
- To decrease the size of text, select Smaller.
- Alternatively, you can adjust the size of text by selecting a percentage value (e.g. selecting 50% will decrease the text size by half).
- To revert back to the default text size, select 100%.
If you are using Netscape 6.0 or 4.0:
- Select Edit.
- Select Preferences from the menu; a new window will open.
- Select Appearance from the left hand side menu within the new window.
- Under Fonts, reset the size (for example, 10, 12, 14).
Safari
If you are using Safari:
- Select View.
- Select Make Text Bigger to increase the text size or Make Text Smaller to reduce the text size.

*Not all websites will change. Modern websites that are built using web standards will allow you to adjust the text size. Older websites or websites not built to standard use a fixed text size.
